The building was inspired by the owner’s desire to save and repurpose a 19th century Vermont barn.

The building was inspired by the owner’s desire to save and repurpose a 19th century Vermont barn.

The music Barn program was divided into a two story residence with a lower walk-out recording studio.

The project structure and the majority of the materials are all repurposed from a dismantled 19th century timber framed barn, originally located 90 miles away from the project site.
